PROFILE:

The ideal person for this will possess strong and proven experience in a sales position or supervisory role along with a commercial mindset and the confidence to take initiative and make decisions.

JOB SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:

The Sales Professional works closely with the Store Manager to support the Gallery and contribute to its success.  Focused on delivering a consistent and memorable customer shopping experience, he/she is a role model for the team.  The Sales Professional will demonstrate superb sales leadership skills in respect to building a personal client portfolio, driving client engagement, cross selling and finding new business to hit sales targets.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for sales generation while upholding the integrity of the Beretta service philosophy.    
  • Ensures customer needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is quick and efficient. 
  • Develop strategies to improve customer service, drive store sales, and increase profitability. 
  • Meet and exceed personal sales goals and targets, ensure positive sales margins on a quarter/yearly basis.
  • Demonstrate a true passion and respect for the product.
  • Continually strengthens product knowledge and keeps abreast to industry trends.
  • Actively participate in upholding the brand aesthetic in all merchandising activities including but not limited to daily stock maintenance, product transfers, ATF logbook, and other firearm and non-firearm control requirements.

  • Accurately enters all customer information and correctly processes payments & credits in accordance to policy. 
  • Assist with any other projects as required (e.g. restocking merchandize, ticketing, inventory preparation, year-end inventory taking, etc.)  
  • Support when needed the physically acquiring and disposing all firearms legally and in accordance with all ATF, state, and local laws, regulations, and policies. This includes completing ATF required forms, applicable state forms necessary for background checks, certifying and screening all potential firearm transfers for legality of the sale, complying with waiting periods or other possible state requirements.

KNOWLEDGE\ABILITIES:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills – verbal and written and time management/project skills
  • Goal oriented: ability to stay focused on creating winning results
  • Knowledge of principles of salesmanship and luxury service delivery.
  • Knowledge of hunting, sporting equipment, clothing and accessories preferred but not required

WORKING CONDITIONS\PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Must be able to lift and transport up to 50 pounds.
  • Work is performed in a professional retail environment.

EXPERIENCE\EDUCATION:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • At least five years of related luxury or premium sales or service experience.
  • Must have a working knowledge of firearms and hunting and shooting related activities
