Texas hunters like a good bang for their buck, as long as the quality matches the price. A high percentage of shots are taken in low-light conditions, and the new Nikon BUCKMASTERS II 3-9×50 Matte BDC riflescope fits the bill, and your bill will be only $179.95.

The large-objective-lens addition to the BUCKMASTERS II lineup is for the guy or gal that wants a scope that gathers more light.

“It’s a great value,” said Raylin Massey, a sales rep for Nikon Sport Optics in East Texas and Louisiana. “Nikon has expanded on the success of the 3-9×40 scopes. The larger surface area of the 3-9×50 gathers additional light, and the exceptional quality of the glass in the tube makes the sight picture bright. It is the brightest, most affordable 3-9×50 in the field.”

The riflescope offers the brightness and clarity of Nikon’s Fully Multicoated lenses and the long-range aiming simplicity of its BDC reticle. The BDC reticle is most effective when optimized for an individual cartridge and load with Nikon’s Spot On Ballistic Match Technology — available as a free app or online program.

Sighting-in the new 3-9×50 is made easy with precise ¼-inch@100 yards reticle adjustments and Spring-Loaded Instant Zero-Reset turrets, which can be returned to the zero-mark after sight-in for enhanced confidence. The BUCKMASTERS II 3-9×50 also has a fixed 100-yard parallax setting, generous eye relief and is waterproof, fogproof and shockproof.

The suggested retail price is $179.95 and is backed by Nikon’s Limited Lifetime Warranty and No Fault Repair/Replacement Policy.
