Lone Star Outdoor News Executive Editor Craig Nyhus is down on the coast this weekend, fishing with friends near Aransas Pass and turned in this report.
Craig said the wind was blowing, but they managed to find some fish, including a nice 25 ¼-inch trout near Aransas Pass.
“Tough day with high winds,” Craig said. “We caught five trout and one redfish.”

Henry and Craig were throwing the Stoker RT lure when the biggest trout hit.
Despite tough conditions, Craig said it was a good trip and nice to get out on the water.
