It’s 2013!
Thankfully, the Mayans were wrong and the world didn’t end in 2012.
Here at LSON, we are already gearing up for a great year bringing you coverage of the most current hunting and fishing stories from across our great state.
As we speak, we are setting up our booth at the Dallas Convention Center in anticipation of the Dallas Safari Club Convention, which begins Thursday.

Our first issue of the year comes out next Friday and will be full of great stories, including a report on the deer season as it hits the final weeks for non-MLDP ranches. Cold weather has finally hit Texas, and reports of big bucks running wild after does in the brush country are emerging.
Other reports will include dove, ducks and trout from the coast.
As hunting seasons draw to a close, the spring fishing will kick into high gear. We are looking forward to seeing where the next lunker bass comes from — Fork? Falcon? Caddo?
