The Dallas Safari Club Convention will be heading to Atlanta, Georgia, from 2025 until 2029.

Following an announcement from the City of Dallas of a multiyear project to demolish and rebuild the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center — the venue the Dallas Safari Club Convention has called home for 14 years — some tricky logistics have surfaced. As excited as all parties are about what will eventually be a state-of-the-art facility in Dallas, the project requires DSC to find a new home for the event until construction is complete.

After a comprehensive review of 32 locations, spanning from Texas and across the U.S., DSC chose the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta as its temporary home.

Dates for the DSC Conventions in Atlanta will not change from those previously published, and Atlanta representatives will be in attendance at the 2024 Convention in Dallas to provide a wealth of information about the convention center, the city and their commitment to delivering a world-class experience.

In addition to the annual Conventions to be held in Atlanta from 2025 through 2029, DSC also announced that, beginning it 2025, it will host a second convention in Dallas each summer. Aligned with the DSC Foundation Gala, this Expo will feature many exhibitor partners, include evening events and culminate with the annual DSC Foundation Gala on Saturday night.

DSC will host the upcoming 2024 DSC Convention and Sporting Expo Jan. 11-14, 2024, in Dallas, again kicking off the year as the first major hunting and conservation show in North America.

The DSC Convention expects to bring together an estimated 40,000 individuals in total attendance, and approximately 900 exhibitor partners representing 72 different countries from around the globe.
