It’s not too late to sign up for “Dove 101”, hosted by Texas Brigades, in conjunction with Texas Dove Hunters Assoc. and the Texas Youth Hunting Program.
This educational event will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019, 9am until 8pm at 24 Outfitters near Winters, TX.
Participants (ages 9-17) will rotate thru dove-related stations, including hands-on anatomy demonstrations, as well as firearm and field safety lessons, bird identification methods, hunting ethics, dove habitat, and more.
This outdoor event will end with a clay shoot, evening dove hunt* and a cookout.

* In order to participate in the evening dove hunt, each child must bring their license and proof of hunter safety certification. Please bring your own firearms and shells for the hunt portion.
