On Saturday, April 27, Lake Fork Classic, Inc. will host their 12th annual charity big bass fishing tournament benefiting the children of Camp John Marc.
The Fishing Tournament will be held at Axton’s Bass City and has guaranteed $4,000 in cash prizes for top 3 biggest fish. The tournament entry fee is $75. All angler participates will receive and T-shirt, dinner, entrance to the raffle and auctions and will be able to listen to a live band performance from The Jerrod Medulla Band. The day is scheduled as follows:
• Fishing Tournament, 6 a.m. – 3 p.m.
• Weigh-in, 3:30
• Raffle & Auctions, 4:30 p.m.
• Classic Cookout and Live Band, 6 p.m.
Last year, Lake Fork Classic, Inc. raised $12,000 towards Camp John Marc’s children. Camp John Marc’s Special Camps for Special Kids serves children with chronic illnesses and major physical disabilities, and the families of those children, by making possible high-quality, year-round camping experiences at Camp John Marc, a unique camp facility in Bosque County.
