Hero of the day — April 13, 2012

Today’s hero is Robert Pecht.

Robert said, “I had been getting this boar on game camera pictures for weeks at a feeder and had hunted him a few times at night but he would never come in so I set up a baited area about 70 yards from the feeder to change things up. After baiting the area with corn for 2 weeks, I went and hunted it. About 9pm he came strolling right in. I turned on my Mini-Sniper hog light on from Sniper Hog Lights  and he had no Idea he was lit up like a Christmas tree in the red light. Made a perfect shot and he only ran about 50 yards. He weighed in at 243 pounds.”
