The upcoming Texas Deer Association Convention and Fundraiser has announced its keynote speaker.
The TDA is proud to welcome Ben Carter, executive director of the Dallas Safari Club, as its keynote speaker during the upcoming TDA Convention and Fundraiser.
The annual convention will be held on August 15 through August 17 at the JW Marriott Hill Country Resort & Spa in San Antonio. Carter will speak on Saturday night, Aug. 17.
Ben Carter has served as the executive director of the Dallas Safari Club since 2008. He is an avid outdoorsman and has hunted all across North America, Africa, South America, Asia and New Zealand. He has taken 27 of the 28 North American big game species of which six have qualified for the Boone and Crocket Record Book. He has also served as a director, convention chair, and president of the Dallas Safari Club; director of the Dallas Ecological Foundation; director of the Wild Sheep Foundation; current board member of the Congressional Sportsman’s Foundation, director of the Texas Bighorn Society, steering committee member of the Texas Outdoor Partners, and American Wildlife Conservation Partners. He is a graduate of the University of Texas in Austin with a BBA in Marketing.

The annual TDA Convention & Fundraiser is the state’s biggest deer industry event of the year, attracting thousands of deer enthusiasts from across the country.
