Fall Great Outdoor Days this weekend at Cabela’s Ft. Worth

aacabftworthCabela’s announced Monday plans to celebrate Cabela’s Fall Great Outdoor Days August 17-18.

The Fort Worth Cabela’s store will feature sales, guest appearances, seminars, family activities and more, Aug. 17 through the 18. Some of the entertainment to include:

• Jay Presti of Blue Collar Adventures on NBC Sports Outdoor Channel hosted by Taco Casa and the Ranch Radio 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Free giveaways and contests. 

• Several Texas country stars to play Saturday at 11:00 am; including Johnny Cooper and Austin Allsup.

• Michael and Sonia Hendrick of Bullets & Broadheads on the Sportsmans Channel

• Full deer processing demonstration hosted by Cinnamon Creek Processing Saturday at 3 p.m.

• Four-time Texas State Duck Calling Champion Clint Johnson is hosting a calling workshop on Sunday at 1 p.m.

• Fort Worth Ducks Unlimited is hosting a Baggo Tournament Saturday at 9:00am. Entry fee covers DU membership and chance to win one of two firearms.

As part of the celebrations, customers 18 years and older will have a chance to enter the “Fall Dream Season Hunts of a Lifetime” sweepstakes hosted by Cabela’s Zonz camouflage. One lucky winner will score a Kansas whitetail archery hunt and a Utah bull elk hunt — complete with lodging, transportation, licenses and Cabela’s gear — for themselves and a guest of their choice. The total package is valued at more than $26,000. The winner will be announced Sept. 13.

To enter the sweepstakes, customers must register online at http://cabelas.com/zonz or at one of Cabela’s in-store kiosks. In addition to the grand prize, the sweepstakes also will include daily giveaways of Cabela’s gift cards valued to $250. No purchase necessary, certain restrictions apply, complete rules can be found at registration.

Seminars, guest appearances and weekend activities will begin at 9 a.m. both days with doorbusters starting at 8 a.m. Saturday morning.
