Game Warden Discovers Poaching During Dating App Conversation

by Lili Keys

A flirtatious conversation turned into a case of poaching.

Oklahoma Game Warden, Cannon Harrison says he uncovered a case of poaching during a conversation on Bumble, a popular dating app, with a McIntosh County woman.

They were messaging when the woman unwittingly revealed she had just killed a “Bigo” buck.

Harrison said she talked about using a spotlight to shoot the deer at night, outside the rifle season. OThe woman only harvested the head and back-strap meat – and she sent Harrison pictures as proof.

The woman has pleaded guilty to charges of improper possession of an illegally taken animal and taking game out-of-season. She and an accomplice face $2,400 fines.

Sounds like this woman should be added to the list of Poachers, Crooks and Other Turkeys.
