A grand re-opening

by Lili Keys

Cabela’s Fort Worth store, the company’s second largest store in both size and production, has seen a lot of traffic since its opening in May of 2005.

And people conducting more than 5 million transactions bring their fair share of wear and tear.

The store went through a major remodel over the past several months, including flooring, fixtures, restrooms and much more. Customers will notice all of the trophies from all over the world, now with murals behind them setting the scene. Today, a grand re-opening celebration was held at the store, and more than 50 “outfitters” (employees) were recognized for being with the store since it opened.

After raising a new flag at the entry while the national anthem played, Store Manager Steve Andognini conducted the ceremonial ribbon cutting, followed by a big pig roast for all of the outfitters and guests.

Be sure to stop by the store this weekend for re-grand opening specials in connections with Cabela’s Great Outdoor Days, held at all of the company’s stores.
