Mark your calendar for Jan. 20, when a one-day auction with more than 700 lots will be offered by John Brommel’s Taxidermy King. The Taxidermy and Western and Antique Auction will take place in Houston at 9367 Winkler A-2, hosted by TexMax Auctions.
The auction will include spectacular exotic trophy mounts, ivory tusks, bronzes, art, western items and antiques from five estates and the collections of three legendary hunters, Irvin and Wendy Barnhart of Houston, Stan and Pamela Atwood of California and Mark Herfort of Rosenberg.
Whether you are looking for a great addition to your home décor or want to enhance your trophy room, the auction will include some of the most unusual items to be found at any location.
Bidders won’t have to travel to Houston to participate, as Brommel said there are four ways to bid: Live, Absentee, Phone or Online.
Go to taxidermyking.com or call (512) 626- 8824 for details, absentee bid forms and online bidding instructions, and, as the date approaches, to view catalog pages to get a peek at what will be offered.
