If a cross-country or international hunting trip seems out of reach because of airfare prices, today is your lucky cyber day.
Whether you’re yearning for a safari to South Africa, or a red stag hunt in New Zealand, airlines are getting into the holiday spirit for Cyber Monday. These deals must be booked today, so act quickly. Here are a few exceptional ones:
South African flights can be booked from Washington, D.C. and New York City from $593 round trip to Johannesburg, South Africa, including tax on fly.com. Select departure dates are January through March of next year.
Flying from Houston to Auckland, New Zealand, on Air New Zealand is $898. Travel windows are Feb. 19-June 21 and July 24-Aug. 31 next year.
Other airlines and travel sites offering Cyber Monday deals include OneTravel (onetravel.com) and Expedia (expedia.com).
Of course, outfitters are getting in on the action as well. For example, Greystone Castle Sporting Club (greystonecastle.com) of Mingus, Texas, is offering a management whitetail deer hunt for $2,500. The 3-day/2-night hunt includes a professional guide, trophy fee for one whitetail buck, lodging, gourmet meals, snacks, complimentary bar and cigars, and more.
