A Texas-based fishing lure company is working to promote the sport and spread their name.

The Inshore Fishing Association has announced San Antonio-based Livingston Lures as the latest sponsor for its redfish and kayak fishing tours.

“Having Livingston Lures as a sponsor of the IFA’s Redfish and Kayak Tours is a great addition to the list of sponsors who help make the IFA the best inshore fishing tour in the country,” said IFA President Jim Armstrong. “Livingston Lures’ constant innovations and improvements in the tackle industry help anglers catch more fish and we appreciate their drive to promote the sport of fishing.”

Livingston Lures produces advanced lures for freshwater and saltwater fish. Featuring unique vibration and sound technologies, Livingston Lures produces a wide variety of hardbaits including crankbaits, top-water baits, wakebaits, lipless crankbaits and jerkbaits.

“Livingston Lures is proud to be part of the IFA’s successful fishing tours,” said Robert Castaneda, lure inventor and avid inshore angler.  “Our lures are designed to look real and swim with a natural, precise action.   The added technology of our internal sound chamber and LEDs gives anglers an added edge when targeting inshore species.  We are happy to support the IFA in their efforts to expand the sport that we love.”

Drawing inshore anglers from Texas to the Carolinas and beyond, the IFA Redfish Tour is the largest and oldest redfish tour in the nation. Offering anglers the opportunity to compete in low-entry fee events, redfish anglers can fish close to home, minimize expenses and compete for lucrative winnings and contingency prizes.

The IFA Kayak Fishing Tour presented by Hobie Fishing is the fastest-growing kayak fishing tournament trail in the county. Kayak anglers competing in the catch-photograph-release tournaments can take advantage of the numerous money and product prizes awarded to competitors.
