About Russell:
If you’ve read any Texas-based magazines or outdoor magazines over the past twenty five years chances are you’ve seen some of Russell’s photos or read some of his words. Since 1989, he’s been traveling the state telling authentic Texas stories with his camera and his words – both written and spoken.
In fact, he may be one of Texas’ most published photographers during that time. The tally is staggering: he’s had over 400 magazine covers, an estimated 600,000 words published, has authored six books, produced a full-length television documentary, and continues to produce new content on a daily basis.
