Cabela’s will celebrate the growing number of women enjoying the outdoors with Ladies’ Day Out, October 4, 2014 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This event encourages women to become an outdoor enthusiast in style, focusing on the latest outdoor apparel, archery, personal firearms and more. The first 100 women to check in at the store on event day will receive a free gift and all who participate in the event will qualify for the employee discount on all purchases.
According to the National Shooting Sports Foundation, new target shooters — those who have taken up the sport in the last five years — are younger, female and urban when compared to established target shooters, or those participating for more than five years.
For women seeking to expand their knowledge and expertise in other areas, such as campfire cooking and fishing, workshops featured include:

Classes will be taught by local experts and are always free of charge.
