Mike Fleming of New Braunfels and Brian Fleming of San Antonio finished second with 29.48 pounds, winning $2,500. The team fished main lake rock edges using Xcite baits and Reflex jigs.
In third place, winning $1,750, was the father-son team of Arlen Hauschild of Seguin and Christopher of Canyon Lake, who finished with 29.17 pounds. Rounding out the top five were Kevin Clifford and Jared Gonzales of Laredo with 26.49 pounds, winning $1,200 and Mark Pena of Zapata with Ronald Lewis of Gonzales with 24.98 taking home $1,050.
It took a double-digit sow to win as the largest bass in the tournament, tipping the scales at 10.67 pounds brought in by David Meyer and Rusty Reedy.
