Park Cities Quail Coalition announces new slate of officers

Story from PCQC

Park Cities Quail Coalition has announced a new slate of officers for 2021. Vice President Raymond Morrow was elected as President. Morrow follows PCQC co-founder, Joe Crafton, who has served as President since the chapter’s formation in 2006. During those years, the organization grew from a startup chapter of Quail Unlimited to the creation of a separate 501(c)3 and the alliance of the 11 chapters of Quail Coalition. The Board of Directors of PCQC is extremely thankful for the guidance and direction provided by Mr. Crafton as President, which has helped make PCQC a model organization that has raised over $12 million for quail research and education in less than 15 years of operation.

Crafton said “It has been the most rewarding volunteer experience of my life. I am so proud of what this group has accomplished. PCQC has never been in a better place and I believe new blood is always helpful for any organization to thrive. I look forward to remaining active on the board and supporting the new leadership”

Crafton was recently elected as the President of the Rolling Plains Quail Research Foundation effective February 1. He will also remain on the board of Quail Coalition.

The full Board of Directors for PCQC is as follows: Wyatt Abernethy, Joe Crafton, Pete Delkus, Dick McCallum, Raymond Morrow, Matt Perry-Miller, Peter Stovall, and John Wagner.

Jay Stine remains in his role as Executive Director of Quail Coalition, where he has served since 2011.

PCQC has postponed their annual Dinner and Auction to later this year when they will honor Martin F. (Bubba) Wood with the T. Boone Pickens Lifetime Sportsman Award.   We hope to announce an early summer date for the event soon.
