The Redfish Lodge on Copano Bay is coming back! After being destroyed in August 2017 by Hurricane Harvey, the first phase of the development, the Ruddy Lodge, is under construction and will be opening in early 2025.
In a letter to former customers, the lodge founders announced that in March, the Ruddy Lodge will open with bookings for up to 12 guests; and the remaining portion of the property will begin construction soon.
The founders of Redfish Lodge Partners, LLC, have dedicated more than four years to meticulous research and planning, ensuring a strong foundation for this first-class facility.
Upon completion, the Redfish Lodge on Copano Bay will have a significant positive impact on the local community and economy, providing jobs and reviving a beloved property and business. We are committed to delivering unforgettable experiences, blending exclusive corporate meeting facilities, exquisite meals, world-class sunsets, and, of course, outstanding fishing.
Here are some highlights of what you can expect from the new Redfish Lodge:
Location: Situated on a mile-long peninsula on Copano Bay, the new Redfish Lodge will include the main lodge and the Ruddy Lodge, with a projected capacity of up to 60 guests.
Facilities: State-of-the-art amenities, including boat docks/marina, a 500-foot lighted fishing pier, swimming pools, cabanas, a business center, dining and meeting rooms, bars, recreation areas, a first-class chef’s kitchen, and, best of all, the famous views of Copano Bay.
Construction: To better protect our investment, the founders elected to utilize Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) building technology, making the new Redfish Lodge capable of withstanding major hurricanes.
Team: The Redfish Lodge team comprises experienced and passionate individuals, including management, staff, architects, engineers, project consultants, and contractors, all dedicated to realizing our vision for the Redfish Lodge.
Service: The primary objective of the new Redfish Lodge will be to provide five-star amenities and service to all our corporate clients, as well as our individual guests. We are eagerly looking forward to serving you and creating memorable experiences for all.
