Shilen Rifles, Inc founder and Benchrest Hall of Fame Member, Ed Shilen, has passed away on December 7th. He was 84 years old.
Ed was one of the sport’s great innovators and promoters. He was constantly looking to improve the quality and accuracy of his products, as well as the standard for accuracy in the industry.
He began his pursuit of extreme accuracy in 1955, and later founded Shilen Rifles Inc. in March of 1967.
Shilen set many records during his long shooting career and was recognized by the Benchrest Hall of Fame.
