Three generations of hunting

Ty, Billy and Bill make up three generations of Gerke hunters. Ty Gerke, 13, shot this awesome Mule Deer in the beautiful Jeff Davis Mountains on a recent hunting trip with his father, Billy and grandfather Bill.

Last year, Bill had surgery and was not able to go on the hunt. Ty and Billy were bummed out but Bill fought hard to recover in time to go this year to share the hunt. Which made this trip even more special for the family.

The Gerke’s hunted by riding in jeeps and glassing in order to spot mule deer. They covered about 25000 acres of the West Texas ranch.
