Home Texas Fishing Warm enough to wade

Warm enough to wade

by Editor

Lone Star Outdoor News’ Steven Schwartz drug some family down to McLennan County for some bass fishing, and happened to have some luck.

The water was warm enough to wade, and the bass were hitting on everything from buzz baits to soft plastics and streamer flies. It didn’t take long for the crew to rack up over thirty catches in just a few hours of fishing. The weed beds were producing fish up to two pounds, along with a few bluegill.

Stay tuned for the topwater action this evening.
